des8, many thanks for your reply. I've got it now. All the technical stuff is a bit overwhelming when it's a crash course. But I 'get' how it works now and understand why people were saying it was impossible.

I've also asked my household legal add-on to review their decision based pretty much on your postings #13 and #16. If they reverse their decision and fund the action, great. If they don't, I'll go it alone.
