  • Trying to find a link to relevant case law

Good evening ladies and gentlemen on my acceptance into the forum. To begin with,i have a reasonable knowledge of legal procedure due to my participation in studying for a law degree as a mature student, for which i hope to add my knowledge into the forum, and hopefully learn in return.

Some times comments that i make may seem a bit abrupt, but please do not take it personally. I look at situations in an objective mind, not subjective. I only comment on established facts and where a comment is in my opinion, i will state so.

    So to my question:

Last year i believe their was case law set where it was confirmed that in regards to a Consumer Credit Agreement regulated by the CCA 1974 (As Amended)

That the creditor was defined as the person who was demanding payment from the debtor as to the Act.

I am sure it was Link Financial, but cannot confirm. Is this case law contained within the forum archives for which a link will be appreciated.

    thank you

to LegalBeagles.....I'm sure your posting style will be ok,,abrupt is fine...rude isn't ,,A majority of OP's come here because they are scared,,in debt and can't see any way out of their troubles. Many appreciate the 'blunt and effective ' approach,,others need time and patience to get the whole story out of them and careful steady advice laid out point by point.
We have the whole range of posters on here,,and we muddle along quite nicely,so enjoy your stay
