Seems like LS4U.CO.UK website is down ...

it seems that someone has reported them to the advertising standards authority who have ordered them to comply with regulation ... advertising legal services as a complaint handling scam is never the right thing to do. One can only hope the hassle and cost doesnt upset them ...

They were/are just a debt/collection agency so I'd cease worrying about them, wait for the defence from the trader to your claim and go from there.

Last day for submitting - Still no news Im sure some kind of "defence" rumbled up by LS4U will descend through my letterbox .. soon …

By the way - LS4U don't turn up at court the client has to do it themselves … it s all spelt out on their website (was till it got shut down) :-)

Is there a way for you to check online to see what, if any, documents have been filed recently?
They say that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. That being the case then I have enough to be lethal.

It is possible that he has filed a defence wit the court, but not served on you.
You could try ringing the court to see if they have anything

I have rang the Court helpline - they have confirmed that no response has been made to the claim. The claim was sent to the registered address of the car dealer. Is this the right thing to have done ??

The dealer is a limited company ... they have a correspondence address which is an unmanned compound - so I used their "Registered address" which is a firm of accountants.

Legalsolutions4u.co.uk kept saying to me - send all correspondence in respect of this matter to us !! - hell No chance lol.

So Can I now register my court judgment ?? and what will happen if they ask for a set aside on grounds they didnt get the claim form ....

Not doing nothing yet .. but happy that if they start again for a set aside will cost them some more money.

I am right to state that i did not have to send anything to Legalsolutions4u.co.uk ??? they cannot tell me to send a claim form to them ???

                              Thank you all ....

Claim should be served on defendant at the company registered office.
