My mum, who is elderly, got a parking fine today from Parking Eye.

She had parked, as she always does, in the car park in town for many years, and its the first time she's ever received a parking ticket.

When she looked at the parking ticket, the machine had not printed the ticket correctly.

Instead of her registration number being HY66 it printed Y66 and also added another letter on at the end.

Mum knew that she had paid for the correct amount £1 for 34 minute duration.

    Parking Eye want £100.

    Any advice please?

OK post up a redacted copy of the PCN, leaving the dates. Whose car park? So the appeal, FROM THE KEEPER, will be defective equipment not recording details correctly and why did they accept the money when they knew that invalid VRM was not in the car park
