Hi all,
Great to find a forum like this.
Summary:
Company A & Company B share a Dropbox Account
Company A pays for the Dropbox Account but knows, at least technically, that Company B can access their files (and vice versa)
Company B is now suing Company A
Company B has access to their defence putting them in a potentially strong position when it comes to prosecution
On every Dropbox file the 'owner' of the data is clearly indicated and includes the names of all employees in Company A and Company B
Ignoring the fact that a setup of this kind is ridiculous/incompetent and whether or not it is ethical (there is a huge back story here)...
Is it legal for Company B to view Company A data (which includes solicitor correspondence) if they have access rights and are clearly listed as a party with access rights.
Thank you - any assistance/advice would be much appreciated.
