      as far as I'm aware she was paid by the employer. I will double check though.



      Cet, hopefully she wont have one but we shall find out very soon hopefully. She better get a wriggle on though, it's due in a 3 ish weeks :rolleyes:

        Just to update this thread. Her employer have agreed to pay the first 6 weeks at 90% pay and the rest she will have to claim MA @ about £80 per week ish.
        Plus the fact they will get child benefit, child tax credit possibly working tax credit as well, so she is not quite as worried anymore.

                A bit late I know but employers can claim most SMP payments back anyway.
