Re: Chq time for successful claims

If this was I, I'd be content that I was actually getting something back in PPI refunds and just let things take their natural course.

I agree on cannot guess how long anything takes to process in situation, has MBNA 10 cheques to process or 10 Thousand +.

Im all for letting things take thier natural course if along the way there wasn't any cockups but to be told one figure and expect payout in 28 days then 20 days later to be told another figure with another 28 days potential wait is in my opinion taking the water it's not money that I've won its money that Has been taken from me illegally over the course of 15 years which is now been rightfully returned if I owed them money would they let me stall and make what they call admin errors hmmm I think not

It's annoying to have this nice carrot dangled in front of you then moved further away. not quite within reach, but it's not worth getting worked up about. MBNA aren't making any money from this - the minuscule amount of interest they gain will be more than wiped out by the admin cost of sending you letters.

Clearing off a lot of little debts sounds like a great use for the money - but I just wanted to ask if you have any debts where you have an arrangement to pay or where you have defaulted? because if you have, the best use of the money is likely to be making full & final settlement, see http://debtcamel.co.uk/debt-options/...on/full-final/.

Great advice camel The only debt we actually have is 800 pounds bank loan and a couple of credit cards and everything is up to date it just gives us a few hundred pounds a month extra in the bank oh and it pays our 400 overdraft off to fingers crossed it comes this week lol x
