  • ppi HELP!

Hi all, i am looking for some advise please......
I am trying to make a ppi claim on behalf of my mother. She had a credit card with american express back in 2002 and the account was closed in 2009. American express are conveniently saying that they have 'no details' or any matches found.
My mother has no paperwork as it was a long time ago,. but we have done a credit report which does detail when she had the credit card but there are no other details regarding account numbers or anything.
Can anyone suggest what to do?
Any help would be much appreciated:tinysmile_hmm_t2:

    Re: ppi HELP!

    Hi

Did you try requesting for paperwork by sending a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter to their data protection department, as these are the one's that should hold the information if any, if you do send a SAR, you enclose the one payment of £10 where they have 40 calendar days to comply, and they MUST comply,if they're unable to provide any information then they must by law send back the payment with a written letter x
