Miselling refused can I claim o policy?

I have had claims for ppi turned down by lloyds . Is it therefore possible to claim on the insurance five years after redundancy as this is the first I knew about having PPI?

Do you have a copy of the T&Cs?
As you weren't aware of the policies' existence I doubt it, so ask for it (Writing Signed for!)
I would expect there to be a time limit for making claims, but why not lodge a claim to see what they say.
If the claim is turned down, you would possibly have a claim against the seller/insurer for not supplying you with policy details.
Not sure, but just a suggestion to start things moving

Thanks I'll get on to that tomorrow, Would a sar be the best line of approach?

That will cost! They should IMO just supply the wording.
If they do make sure it is the one sold you as wordings have changed over the years.

Have you put in a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman? If not do so. the fact that you never made a claim on the insurance when you were made redundant is excellent evidence that you didn't know it existed!
