Not quite sure how to respond to a recent letter from nat west although I'm gathering I was missold insurance back in 2004 especially it being a single payment premium, I was led to believe it was a must to have the PPI AND WHAT REFUND SHOULD I BE ASKING FOR THE INTEREST ?

Re: Nat west sent letter about mis sold PPI
Steve, I'd simply attack the policy and the way it was sold and depending on the amount of the PPI and when the loan was paid off would determine that. Most banks apply 8% interest on the amount which would be the amount you'd get going through the court system.
What have you done so far with the claim because clearly it's difficult to advise? Are you doing this on your own or through one of these claims companies?(if it's the latter approach then this is where the advice ends since the question should be directed to them otherwise it's all good

Re: Nat west sent letter about mis sold PPI
I complained to say that I thought it was an obligation to have the insurance for the loan to go a head and I never know the amount the insurance would cost and interest on top of that, they wrote back with 2x credit card numbers
And 2x loan policy numbers and said that PPI WAS COVERED ON ONE CREDIT CARD AND ONE LOAN POLICY BUT COULD NOT FIND PAPER WORK FOR OTHER two !Last edited by Stevie64; 1st April 2015, 09:35:AM.
