  • PPi Solutions finance

I had a credit card with solutions finance, which was with or through Littlewoods finance, I fell into financial hardship after loosing my job.
I was not able to make the repayments on the card and it went into arrears and finally to debt collectors, which I have been paying of every month without fail.
But since the PPi scandal came about, I thought I would look into whether I had any PPi on this card.
So I sent about making the complaint but got a right run about and this was back in 2012 I wrote to Compucredit who I was told and was lead to believe at the time who this credit card was with ,but got a letter back and told to contact Monument who were now in charge of the account, so I contacted them and finally sent to Barclaycard who sent me a letter out (with a logo top right hand corner blue circle Lpf) but with their customer relation address on it,
Saying they could not find any accounts/policies with my details, so after all the phone calls and letters to several company's to trace any PPi this letter from Barclycard was the last straw and I gave up, but I has since found the letter again and I was wondering if I can re-open the case again now after their letter dated 12 July 2012.

can you please advise or give me any advice as to might have the account that I can claim the PPi back if I had any on this card.

I apologise for the long letter.

    Thanks

    Re: PPi Solutions finance

    Hi welcome to LB.

I think it would be appropriate to make a Subject Access Request under the Data Protection Act 1998 to Barclays to get all the personal data it hold on you/the account,

There is a £10 statutory fee for the SAR and BC have 40 days to comply. Use the template from the forum library and send by signed for post.
