Ok Lizzie --I have some time now--am trying to analyse your figures in comprehensive spreadsheets--and will ask questions as and when

btw--in post 11--your figures add up to £4,269.30 not £4,628.97

However--as the park was shut--Here's Freddie & Montserrat sing Barcelona at LaNit in 1988--lol

Right--need a bit more info:--please DETAIL for me

ACCOUNT NUMBER
DATE OPENED
DATE OF FIRST PAYMENT
NUMBER OF PAYMENTS ACTUALLY MADE
ALL CREDITS on your statements (ie at start of Loan) & (at end of Loan)

The 5% btw is Insurance Tax (I think)

Re your initial calc at post 11----you can only claim 8% on amounts ACTUALLY paid (ie with carrying forward loans only a small number of payments will have been made--hence my request for sums as above)

Where we are going is to:

The easy bit:
1) Calculate the actual PPI Pymts (incl PPi Interest)
2) Then calculate the 8% stat interest

The hard bit:
3) Calculate what proportion of consolidated Advances were purely due to c/f PPI Sums from older loan(s) (as a proportionate %)
4) Then calc 8% on that

Then:
5) Add up all 4 items above

Vino and TV sounds great !
I used to be pretty handy with excel and open office when I helped with bank charges all those years back, did loads I had a laptop then an now just have a small tablet an a small tablet/come laptop but would have a go at anything
I used to be able to scan then attach documents to posts etc, not to sure if I can on this but will find out, maybe photo them if this has a camera ? then email as I don't mind at all you and Amethyst seeing the paperwork am pretty sure Son wont either ill go have a play.. maybe photo with tablet then blue tooth to this then email you lol...blimey I must love that Son o mine !

Re your first 6 loans----please confirm whether your "total loan" figures are "total loans" OR TAP ("Total Amount Payable" which includes interest

Re your first 6 loans--I need to know the mthly payment amount (Total or categorised)
