  • Lloyds TSB PPI

I claimed back PPI on a loan I took out with Lloyds TSB and received a settlement which was upheld in part.

In June 2014 I read that this was incorrect and I should have received full repayment of my PPI so I wrote to Lloyds on 13 June 2014 and asked them to look into this.

I received no reply to my letter so I wrote to them again on 30 June. Again I received no reply so I wrote again on 04 August 2014. Guess what? Still no reply.

I could phone them but I need to get a written reply so that if they refuse to repay the outstanding PPI I will have a letter to send to the Financial Ombudsman.

    Hello Ashley.
Did you send it by normal post or recorded delivery?
Did you try to call just to check what is going on?
You can write a complaint to their CEO. They usually take it seriously.
I had a few similar situations.
During my own PPI saga (with 9 companies ) I had 3 cases where companies behaved in a similar way. When I contacted them, they denied receiving anything from me. I did send everything by special delivery and furthermore even asked to witness what I included in the envelope (such as documents, cheque for £10 for SAR, NI contributions etc.). When companies told me they had no record of it, I emailed to their CEO the proof, including tracking number, the tracking information, the name and signature of the person who signed for it from their company, the date, time and the information about the content witnessed with the signature.
They quickly apologised and "found" everything, which was "accidentally mislaid".

Let's see what others would suggest, I would call them to check what is going on and, may be email to their CEO.

    Best,

    Victoria

      Hi ashlee
As Victoria says, its a good idea to contact the CEO, tell the CEO his complaints team are failing you by ignoring you, and its not good for his customer service, explain your situation to him, and as well as sending the CEO an email copy it on to the customer service team, let me know if you havent the customer service email and i shall find this for you but for now here is the details of the CEO, good luck and please keep us posted x x
