  • Lloyds PPI

    Hi,

    I'm after some advice - I accepted a final response from Lloyds back in 2012 (i was surprised i got anything so just accepted). After the recent news in the press - i'm now starting to question whether i should of worked out if that was correct. Am I in a position now where i can check to see if there calculations were correct for the payout and if not question this...or is it to late.

    Is there anything out there that can help me out with the calculations?!

    Thanks

    Re: Lloyds PPI

    Hi and welcome to LB.

    There was something in the media about some banks underpaying on ppi refunds, so if this applies to you once checked, then do contact them to raise this matter up with them.

    Now I am not the one for calculations myself and maybe someone will be along who can work them out for you, and if you wish to post them up then please do so.

    There is a link below from Turbo and Bilk about understanding calculations, if you've not checked this out yet, I have applied the link for you here;

    If you do have the figures, I dont mind having a look for you. And will do my best to help. :tinysmile_twink_t2:

      Hi Clare,

      I am in a similar situation with another bank and when checking amount paid it did not include unfair extortionate credit card charges redress pre 2006.

      I spoke to FOS about this and another pending upheld claim, in which they said charges will be taken into account once settlement has been agreed.

      I have just written to the bank concerned asking for refund of charges due to the recent publicised news as they were not previously taken into consideration, so will keep you posted of their response.

      Cheers
