    Hi and welcome

I would contact them and tell them you have received a letter in the post, but it does not correspond to your complaint you sent, or send them an email with the copy of the letter attached, maybe the info in the letter was not meant for you but another customer and they messed up, definately worth getting in touch with them.

Please keep us posted on this, cheers and good luck on your reclaiming x

Did they ever make contact with you?

Did they have the correct telephone number to call you on?

What they are saying is that as they cannot call you to clarify how the policy was sold and that if you were unemployed(which would have been one reason for not having the cover) or that you were under/over the age or you were living overseas that they have to take the information you have provided. With the information you have provided, they have found that the policy was suitable for your needs and that you were eligible for the policy that you had and therefore it was not missold.

Going back a step or two, why do you believe the policy was missold and what evidence did you provide to them?

I have and I think it's because they have very limited information so have made assumptions I have sent off a letter with all I can remember about the time I was missold and it's being reinvestigated.
It's going to take another 8 weeks. When I filled out the original claim form I was a bit vague as I was filling out another 8 so hopefully they will look further and come to the right conclusion.
also it was rubbish regarding the trying to contact me they had all my phone numbers emails and my correct address and they sent no communication. I also feel it's generic and to see how many less empowered people will accept the letter and not pursue the claim.
