    Re: Fos

    Well done!

Well as long as the bank agrees and does not submit further, the FOS should give them a timescale to pay out.

I take it this was at the Adjudicators stage?

Normally if either of you agrees with the outcome, you or the bank (business can have it reviewed by the Ombudsman), but if the bank agrees at this stage they should pay out by the timescale given, if they do not, then you let your adjudicator know and they chase this up for you.

Did the adjudicator enclose the paperwork for you to sign?

You should receive back every payment of PPI you paid plus the relevant interest.

Without the actual figures its difficult to confirm, if you do have figures etc that may help, as we also have to take into account the interest as well they have to pay, it can differ from one loan account to the other.

        Re: Fos

That is wonderful news indeed, especially as the bank has agreed, well done!

So basically what you should get back will depend on how much of the loan was actually the ppi of it, so every monthly payment made on the ppi plus interest, you should also be awarded the 8% interest of what a court would usually award as standard with loan ppi refunds.

Sounds like there's quite some sum to come back to you.

                Your welcome Stacy:tinysmile_twink_t2:

You could ask the FOS (your adjudicator) if she or he would be kind enough to email you with the paperwork of the calculations, or of any info she holds on the figures, I'm sure on request they will send you these, as the bank would have highly likely sent this info when the fos requested for info from the bank of your accounts.

That is good going 12 weeks :tinysmile_twink_t2:

Do you have any statements from the Visa Card by any chance?

Again it can differ depending on what interest rates, but any statement of the Credit Card agreement may be of some help, its hard to predict the calcs from the whole amount as it differs from bank to bank with rates at the time as well etc.... x:tinysmile_twink_t2:
