Barclays PPI Redress delay

Silly question really but has anyone else had the run around with Barclays ?

Complaint up held by the FOS after being with them eighteen months .

Barclays claim they sent me a cheque in February but never arrived !!!

In January I was told by the FOS that they would be paying me by BACS did not happen !!

I have e mailed all three e mails given to me by a very kind poster on here but no reply or rejected.
Did get a reply from them by e mail from another department but that was over three weeks ago and still no answer .

Any suggestions ?

Hi there

Blimey that is naughty!

Did you contact the FOS again to tell them that Barclays still failed to comply? If not then get on to it and maybe email the CEO of Barclays as well, I would also be inclined to request for further redress for the distress/inconvenience they have caused in this long delay.

Maybe contact your local MP to chase this up for you as well x

Means I am interested, coming to the end of a long dispute with Barclay's.
They appear to be totally incompetant but not confident enough to advise you..
See you have the fabulous Di she knows what she is talking about.

Certainly the redress should increase due to delay in payment - should get the 8% interest element of the redress increased - could be a tidy some more - Do the calculations and let them know this is what you are now demanding.

I have finally had my payment paid by BACS and suprisingly a letter a day or so later explaining the redress figure.

Happy now but angry with Barclays Customer Services :tinysmile_cry_t:

I certainly would as I have recently experienced their poor customer services on another issue :tinysmile_twink_t2:
