    Re: Capital One

Have a lovely time Victoria are you going anywhere nice?

L'Pool, If you can back up your counter argument with any paperwork if you can. Make sure you don't give them any room to wriggle out. Some say just give basic facts and if it comes back then give the rest but IMO I make sure everything is given and research other they're usual responses. With my Capital one I found they used 'it was an unadvised sale' or 'you had a cooling off period' so I made sure I stated these so they couldn't be used and it worked. Fingers crossed you get a good result.

I've got a seventh bank to deal with now Lloyds about disputed transactions from my debit card. New thread up in a bit because from Di's experience and loads others Lloyds are next to useless lmao

      Good morning All,

Hope everybody is well. I have gotten my response off to the Ombudsman using your advice Loulou of point by point and Victoria's technical assistance from the rule book. I assume that it will take another 300 years to sort out.......which will suit Capital One fine!!!!!!

Seriously though, I couldn't have done it without all of the input from everyone. So a huge THANK YOU:beagle:Xxxxxx
