  • Egg/barclaycard PPI claim

Hi, I'm looking for some help with my egg PPI reclaim which has been turned down by Barclaycard. They have written to say that they have been 'unable to find a policy in my name.'

This is strange as I'm still paying PPI now to barclycard and they surely must have transferred this over when they bought the account from egg?

Is this just a delaying tactic? Ideally I want to reclaim all PPI paid to date as it's not suitable for me. Should I have been more clear when I completed the claim form perhaps? (A claim form which barclaycard themselves sent me I should add!)

Does anyone have any advice for the most effective next step?

    Many thanks all.

Write back and enclose a cheque for a £1 and request for a copy of the agreement and ask they they send you this by 12 days. (They must comply to this by law of the data protection act) with the payment you made.

Now with them providing you with this agreement, you have your proof straight away to send back to the complaint team and ask "what's this then"? lol, but do only send them the copy.

Oh you request for the agreement to the data dept section x

Welcome to LB by the way x :tinysmile_twink_t2:
