PPI

Hello Everyone.
I had all my loans ect checked last year for PPIs, all ecept one which I could not find paperwork.
None of them had any PPIs on them, but I have just found paperwork for this one and it does have some kind of insurance on it, that I did not know about.

I can scan copy of Agreement if someone could have a look and give me any advice on it.

It is Hire Purchase for a car which is paid off in full now.

Hi there

Thank you for posting up your agreement.
I have checked and on the right hand side where it states Payment Protection it shows a box with £0.00, and the part where it does show insurance of £399 is added below and below that £163.80, so I would write to them with a copy of your agreement and ask what the insurance was in aid of, then let us know and we can go from there. x

Now when I think Back all I can think of is Gap Insurance.
But I assumed that the salseman I dealt with threw it in as part of the deal with the car, there was No mention of extra payment for it, and No mention of it getting added to the price of the car on the Agreement.

I would definately check with them, and I know if purchasing a vehicle GAP ins can also come into the equation, so ask for some details just to be sure..:tinysmile_twink_t2:

Tell them you found your agreement and just making a query on the insurance that was applied, they will ask you for the account number, and your personal details, name/address etc...

They will want the date it was set up as well x

OK Rang them today, they had there own copy of the same agreement and according to the woman on the phone there was no insurance on there copy when clearly it is on mine.
She double checked Agreement number, so we both were lookin at same one.

I have emailed a copy of Agreement to them and am waiting a reply.

Glad you emailed them and we do also prefer all contact to be in writing as well to be honest, this way they cannot fob you off.
I bet the woman on the phone never checked the part on the right hand side...
