Hi was wondering if anyone could help, we took out a loan 11/12 years ago through hfc, they added ppi without telling us - within 14 days we realised and tried to cancel, however they said they couldn't and even if we did the monthly payment would be higher without it! We took out another loan within the year and paid hfc off. I have tried to contact hfc, by phone and was told as I had no paperwork I couldn't prove anything, is this correct? And am I out with the claim period? Thanks in advance :tinysmile_grin_t:
Can I claim ppi from 11/12 years ago?

Re: Can I claim ppi from 11/12 years ago?
I don't have any paperwork - as soon as I paid of the loan I binned the paperwork as I never wanted anything to do with the company - might be able to get bank statements to show I made payments.
When I phoned hfc, last year they said they couldn't find any of my details so couldn't log a complaint/query
Would there be any point logging a complaint/getting bank statements now?
