  • Update from lloyds regarding rejected PPI Claim

Just a quick update on my rejected claim. I spoke back with the claim centre and they have passed my complaint on to have this looked into, the reason behind this is that the dates and address for where the loans were taken out is completely wrong.

I have today received a letter and also an email advising my claim has now been passed to the Chief Executive Team who will contact me within 10 days with their findings.

Has anyone else received letters and emails from this particular team?

    Thanks
    Diane

      Hi Di

      Happy New Year to you.

i received a settlement from Lloyds on the 4th January for £5771 which I have accepted.

I am now in the process of reclaiming PPI from NRAM/Northern Rock which was added to my mortgage when I took this out in 1998.

I cancelled the insurance in 2006 with them as I had no idea what it was that was coming out out from my DD every month as a seperate premium - on checking the insurance was with Aviva who at that time did the PPI for Northern Rock.

I will keep you updated with this, not yet sent it off as I'm not sure who to send it to as my mortgage is now with NRAM and not Northern Rock.

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Thanks
      Diane x

That is great news Diane, well done!

I would say the orignal mortgage broker as it was them who started off the PPI for you as for setting it up as part of your mortgage :-)
However, there is no harm in sending a copy to both, which means one of them should come back to say they are dealing with it and the other will say to go with the other (as then you would have already done so) if that makes sense x
