Abbey Nat loan number format

Hello all

I am in battle with santander re abbey loan taken out 1995

Desperately trying to go through my old paperwork as they need an acc number for the loan

Did anyone else have an abbey loan round this time. Ifso what is the format for the loan number?

Trying to go thru my direct deb references to see if anything stands out but wd like to know how many digits or format of account number so i have a rough idea what to look for

Any help would be most appreciated

If you also banked with Abbey and have statements with a few account numbers in relation to Abbey shown on them, check if any monthly repayments were the same for each month - if you find anything, its possible that was for the loan and use that as a ref loan account number.
I understand that not all statements confirm what they payments were made for.

Just a suggestion really.
I have just contacted Intelligent finance by email, and given them a very long account number from a loan taken out 2003/04 and they still found details from me giving that account number.

However, if you've not done so yet, maybe a SAR request to Santander SAR/Data dept will help, as the complaints dept are separate to the data dept.
When I complained to Santander via GE bank, they stated they had no info, but I SAR's their DATA dept and I received the info I required.

...........If you no account number to request a SAR, then give them as many details as possible in order for them to try tracking down your information, Full name, any other name you were known by whilst you had an account with them, your Date of birth, the approx year of the loan, settlement year and so on.
