    Hello, I received a letter around 2 weeks ago from mbna saying Imay have been mis-sold PPI on my virgin credit card. I had no ideathere was PPI on the account so I filled in the form and sent itback.


    I received a letter this morning saying my complaint is beingupheld, but it says since 2007 I have only paid £9.43 in premiums.If there is PPI on the account, I don't understand how I've onlypaid £9.43 as there has always been a balance owing. My statementsdon't have anything on them regarding PPI.


    To be honest I'm not exactly sure what to ask here, I'm just soconfused!

    Hi and welcome

    I would ask them to a breakdown in more detail, it does sound low, and if you didnt know you had PPI until they raised it up with you and in that case would never have cancelled it previously, it was payable from the start to settlement (if the card is no longer active that is).

    Just write or email the dept who sent you the letter, with the complaint ref number, and ask them how the refund of PPI worked out to be £9.43 if the account's been active since 2007, tell them you require a detailed breakdown from start to finish on all ppi payments.

      Hey Di, Many thanks for the help! There are no contact details on the letter so I've got the address from their website, I'll get a letter posted in the morning. The letter left me a little speechless, wasn't sure if it was a joke or not.
