Lloyds TSB PPI

I have received a letter from Lloyds TSB stating that I took out PPI on a loan I had with them and enclosing a complaint form.

The problem I have is that they have given me a reference number and a policy number but I don't know what these refer to.

I have checked old bank statements but cannot find any payments with reference to these numbers.

Can you please advise me what I can do.

Hi there and welcome

Have you had more than one loan with them?

If not this should be pretty easy to deal with.

Banks have been expected to send out these complaint forms to customers who have been sold PPI with loans in previous years, and if have reason to make a reclaim, (if you think you may have been mis sold) for any reason then you have the right to make a reclaim complaint by completing the reclaim questionnaire with your reasons.

There are lots of reasons for mis selling.

It maybe worth you ringing or emailing Lloyds to ask for dates on the loans by giving the ref numbers they have applied.

Got intouch with LLoyds and they gave me all the details I needed. Will complete a complaints form and see what happens.
