  • Re: Black Horse PPI reclaim

    Help please!
Out of the blue, Blackhorse have sent me a PPI claim form (didn't ask for it)?? T
he thing is, I'm not sure what I should write to get my PPI claim? I was in perm employment with 6 month full pay, 6 month half pay plus 4.2 x annual salary death in service with Accident Sickness and Unemployment protection on my mortgage. Is my mortgage ASU relevant to this claim? We also only took out the policy as our car had been written off and the man in the office told us that is was cheaper to take a new policy than pay early redemption penalties - just not sure what is relevant and is there a particular way to word the claim?
    Any help gratefully received!
    Many Thanks
    Els

    Re: Black Horse PPI reclaim

    Hi and welcome

Banks are expected to send out complaint forms to customers who have been sold PPI, to give customers a chance to make a reclaim, if they think they been mis sold then to complete the form with your reasons on why you believe you have a case to complain. (If you do this then make sure get a photo copy of it done in case you need to refer to it again at some point).

    ASU meaning Accident/Sickness and Unemployment.
Was this PPI for a loan or mortgage?

However, in regards of the fact that you did have cover with employment, that is a reason but as we know with a mortgage its wise to get full cover throughout the life of the mortgage.
All policies can differ to what is offered.

Any policies you believe you were mis sold on then do give it a shot, good luck.
