About time that the, so called, 'Regulator' stepped in!

We all waited for the result of the Judicial Review. But the Banks/Financial institutions are still riding roughshod over the General Consumer.
Daily, one hears reasons various as to why PPI claims are being turned down; referred to the FOS.

"It is disappointing that the number of complaints we continue to receive remains at over 10,000 a week," said a spokesman for the Financial Ombudsman.
"This is particularly true given that the banks have had the opportunity to resolve each complaint before it is referred to the ombudsman," he told the BBC.

maybe the FOS should start issuing the banks with fines for each case that gets sent to them and they deem the ppi has been mis-sold that would surely lead to the banks bucking up their ideas
