  • Red hawk legal nightmare

In 2011 I was contacted by lifestyle claim regarding PPI claim I paid them £299.00 which taken twice for my credit card. Since them ultimate law have taken the case on a I won my case in march 13.a few days after cheque was received I was call by a mobile from someone working for Red Hawk Legal informing that lifestyle claims has gone into liquidation and that they had taken over the claim and I now owed them 30% of my payment. I have refused to pay them and they continue to phone me and pass my debt on to a debt collecting agent . I inform the debt collecting agent that I had no contract with red hawk legal and would not paying, that a few weeks ago. Yesterday I was phoned by ultimate law they informed me that red hawk legal are going to take to court . Ultimate law have informed me that I do owe red hawk legal and that if it went to court I would lose and have a ccj against me name. Ultimate want to broker a deal with me and red hawk legal . Today ultimate law rang me and said if I pay red hawk legal half the debt they would settle my case and help me get back me payment 299.00 .
Can you help me as this is driving mad and I am become very worried about getting a CCJ against me

    Re: Red hawk legal nightmare

    Do not pay
Red Hawk Legal do not have a valid Ministry of Justice Licence.
Firstly ask Ultimate Law for details of Redhawk Legals MoJ Licence
Then ask Red Hawk Legal for a copy of the agreement that states you would pay them.
Then when you get all that in writing check the date the licence was surrendered and the date Redhawk took over Lifestyle Claims.
You will find a gap, which means they could not transfer the licence lawfully.
However there are other things happening with this company and it would be advantagous to string them out until end of July and keep checking this site for information.

There have been many others caught in a similar situation. Do NOT pay RedHawk anything.

Did you have conditional fee agreement with Ultimate Law?
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

          Re: Red hawk legal nightmare

Ultimate law contacted me over a year ago and they have processed my claim successfully . They informed me that I do not owe them anything as they receive payment from the other party in the case.

You BET they are!!! Its the banks providing s.75 refunds who have been the biggest financial loser in these scams.

Just a little about the banks and this situation, when my dad was almost scammed by Tucan claims I was contacted before the money left his account by an automated message. I rang the number supplied and told them no way was this authorised.
Surely the banks in this day and age and all the technology can get a whiff of stuff like this and help prevent people being scammed and also save themselves a lot of trouble and money. In our case it was Santander and although I had a bit of a rough ride setting up an LPA with them and complained, I did also thank and congratulate them for the way they managed to save my dad £249.99.
                        Just a thought

Whatever you do you need to get this proposal in writing from Ultimate and let us see it.

The fact is that your claim should never have been passed to any solicitor if it was procured as a result of a cold telephone call (see 2nd page here
http://www.justice.gov.uk/downloads/...each-sheet.pdf) and on that basis alone you don't owe anything to anyone.

Thank you for your help. I will not pay red hawk legal any money no matter what they 0or ultimate law come up with. I have read the ministry of justice warning about cold calling and feel confident in my action from now on. I will let you know if I hear from either ultimate law or red hawk legal again . Hopefully I can stop worrying so much .

Sorry ITUS but REDHAWK Legal do have a valid MOJ licence.

Regulated by the Ministry of Justice in respect of regulated claims management activities, authorisation number CRM23872. It's registration is recorded on the
website www.claimsregulation.gov.uk. Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (Data Protection) - ICO reg no: Z2263375

I am really pleased to hear the the poster is receiving compensation under s.75 as no service was provided by Lifestyle Claims and as long as NO forms have been signed with Redhawk, no payments are due to them.

If you are writing to Redhawk a letter of complaint, do not sign your letter with your usual signature as companies have been known to copy and paste.
