    Barclaycard PPI success

    Great news.

    Today I received a letter from Barclaycard that they are upholding my PPI complaint

    I have been offered £1,013.77.

    So chuffed with this.

    Good luck to everyone who is claiming.
    Capital One - credit card # 1 - redress £62.32 offered
    Capital One - credit card # 2 - redress £252.79 offered
    Barclaycard - credit card # 1 - redress £1,013.77 offered
    Barclaycard - credit card # 2 - awaiting decision
    Lloyds TSB - credit card - rejected - being re-assessed
    Lloyds TSB - personal loan - redress £1,045.39 offered

    Well done and congratulations, Chivertonl. It's nice to hear the good news when it comes, so thank you for that. Let's hope the others follow suit, now.

      hi Chivertonl, congratulations on your recent claim being upheld, I notice that you also had claims with capital one, did you have any problems with claiming these ?? did you just fill in the relevant PPI claim forms and they replied to them or did and have you had letters bouncing back and forth ? I have just recently filled in the forms and sent them off have received a letter back and am now waiting the 8 weeks to see what the outcome will be.

        "Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

            Hi there.

            With Capital One, they received my complaint and turned it around in a week.
            - Obviously they must have acted very poorly at the point of sale.

            With the usual PPI complaints I have to wait up to 21 days for the payments to come through.
