  • 3 ppi companys want fees for the same claim?

    Hi

i had a mortgage in 2000 till 2006 and got it through Cheltenham and Gloucester via TSB

in early 2011 i got one of the dreaded phone calls about how i can get my ppi back even dating back to 2000 when i took my mortgage out,

i agreed to one company "FAST TRACK RECLAIMS" less then a week later i had received over 200 calls from ppi companys i told them i already have a claim going through so p-off
then 4 months later still nothing from "FAST TRACK RECLAIMS" I received a call which i answered from a ppi company and they
    said this
    " is that Alan"
    "yes"
"im calling about your claim you have"
i then thought it must be FAST TRACK RECLAIMS so i asked what they wanted they said to proceed they need more information ok i told them everything again
next day a massive pack came through the post from "CLAIMS4REFUNDS" with stars telling me where to sign i thought ok and signed sent it off the same day.
then the next day i received another claim pack from "WINDSOR THOMPSON" same as before a pack with stars to sign which i did again and sent it off

i never under any circumstances contacted any of these they were all cold calls

months pass and nothing so i went to TSB and inquired about ppi claim myself, i filled in a form at the branch and that was it 2 weeks later an offer of £1249 if i accept then i need do nothing and they will issue a cheque which came a few days later,

now i have 3 companys all saying they got me my money and they all want over £375 ea in fees .. ive told each one of them that the other company all so want the money and each of them say ignore the other but none of them actually got me my money i did it myself and only one of them so far only WINDSOR THOMPSON have issued me a summons , ive spoke to them and they said they dont do cold calls i contacted them to take out this ppi claim which is a load of balls i didnt call anybody , ive phoned today pretending to be interested in PPI and what happens with payments and such they told me today "we get the cheque from the lender take our fees and then send you the remainder"
but the thing is i got the cheque to me at my home direct from the bank aso why should i have to pay all these companys for something i did myself

sorry if its a bit muddled up and dosnt make much sence

    thanks for any help alan

    Blimey PPI Claims Management Hell!

Ermmm right, well, I think you may well have a valid point about the fact that you received the PPI because YOU recovered it.

The value of each 'hot lead' is incredible and it sounds like your details were passed round several companies, probably for profit.

You say that only the last company, Windsor Thompson has issued a 'summons'. Have you received a court stamped Claim form (N1)? If so, when? Have the others given up entirely?

This will need reporting to the Ministry of Justice promptly.

Our CMC expert Tuttsi will pop along shortly to comment I'm sure.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
