Hello,
I just wanted to if anyone has any knowledge, experience or advice on PPI if you are only in temporary employment?
I had written to Halifax Credit Card regarding an complaint I made on behalf of my dad that they had not upheld.
Recently I was made aware that the application was postal and he was only in temporary employment. (phew...Im not the only one in the family with a memory like a gold fish)
He has sent of for a SAR but it has not been the full 40 days so.... still waiting!!!
They have tried to contact him and will be calling him again on Friday.... He has no paperwork for his original application and only knew about repayment cover when I pointed it out on his statements just before Christmas.
What I want to know please is that the fact it was a postal application the come back they use is everything is sent to you in the post, which I know he did not read otherwise would of cancelled it. Is there a standard rule PPI is no use if you in temp employment like its no use if you are self employed?
Thanking you in advance.
