I became a victim of Lifestyle Claims last year after they went under and were subsequently taken over by Redhawk Financial. I went through my bank to reclaim my £600 as I paid on my credit card and in December had my account credited with the full amount while they investigated. Yesterday I received a letter from my bank telling me they can not recover the money and so have debited my account again. They said in their letter that they will have a look at it under Section 75 which I thought was what they were doing anyway. What can I do to get my money back, can anyone help?

Re: Lifestyle Claims
Your credit card provider has joint responsibility. In circumstances where the company has gone out of business they should be liable for the full amount:
Situations where you could be entitled to a refund through chargeback include.....if the company you bought from has gone out of business...http://www.theukcardsassociation.org...uide(1)(1).pdf
You should register a complaint and tell them that you'd assumed that they had originally refunded you under sec 75, as there is no other basis for them refunding you in the first place and that and if they don't refund it shortly, you'll make a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.
