Re: welcome fiance loan ppi underwritten by aviva

Hello Di well I sent an email asking for a reply and was about to send one to CEO when I recieve a reply. It tells me the ppi was cancelled after 4 months and I was paid £105 so that off £168 PLUS 8% IS £144.
So I have emailed back asking for evidence of the cancellation and of the £105 refund. I know I am being argumentative but they have made me work for this eg looking for this company of financial assosiates so why should I just take their findings without evidence !

        Hi Christine
I don't blame you, and remember as well, if they have provided you with a shoddy service, you can complain on the gounds of the poor customer service where they should also consider further redress for the distress and inconvenience caused, and if they fail to provide you with the information you are requesting, I would certainly be raising this as part of the poor customer service. You are entitled to ask for a breakdown, and they should therefore provide you with these on request. That may help ;-). Good luck x

hello Di, just one more question who do I complain to over poor customer service.
Really do appreciate your guidance and am so glad I found this site. I don't have the knowledge to assist others but just reading some of the threads gives confidence not to be pushed aside by these organisations. Many thanks.

Hi christine, my email and letter (recordef delivery) were adressed to mark wailso - private and confidential - i then expressed my concerns and asking for his help with my ppi complaint. Although it was a member of his senior team that replied to my letter.
                    Good luck

Re: welcome fiance loan ppi underwritten by aviva

                      Thank you Gill for that.

Well I have just had a reply to my request for evidence that after 4 months I was given a refund of £105. Apparently there is no evidence this is what Aviva have been told by Welcome so they Aviva have no reason not to believe them. Interesting because Welcome said I had arranged the ppi through a financial assos but after finding this person and obtaining a letter was able to prove Welcome were wrong. So I have to produce evidence but Aviva/Welcome dont !!!
The email ends abruptly telling me to sign the form and then they will pay out.
Am furious any ideas? Thank you

Re: welcome fiance loan ppi underwritten by aviva

                          Hello,

What a great forum. very informative.

I wonder if you may be able to assist me.

I am in the process of trying to reclaim PPI from Norwich union (Aviva), as they were the underwriters for Ford. As I cannot claim from Ford as the policies were both pre 2005 ( July 2004 and Sept 2004) I am now going to the underwriters.

After extensively reading forums on this, it appears to be a very uphill battle, however I am determined to exhaust all avenues.

I understand you have been successful in reclaiming from the underwriters, and I wonder if you would be kind enough to send me a copy of the letter you have for this. I understand that it is about the wording.

I hope that you are able to assist me
