    I`ve just read all this and found that my respond from 3 January 2013 from Halifax bank is the same. it looks like they change only the names on their letters. They do not state anything about my evidence, they have done my letter like copy and paste from the previous letter on the top. They seem have found way how not to deal with complains.
    Any idea how to cope with. I still have few days to make respond, they state if they do not hear from me in the next 28 days, they will consider the case as resolved.

    Kind regards

    Hiya Sibila and welcome.

    Write back and ask them to look into the matter further, because you believe they have overlooked your complaint without taking into account your reasons on why you been mis sold.
    Mention that they gave no absolute reasons on why they rejected your complaint and you do believe you have genuine mis selling grounds to make a reclaim on the PPI.
    I would also be inclined to say, that you are at the understanding that the business are sending other customers the same response, as standard, which is why you don't think your complaint has been looked into thoroughly.

    Anything you would like to add or think you may have missed, then add that further information as well.

    Keep at them, good luck x

      Hi Di,

      I have finally found the time to write a response. Would you mind having a read through - any suggestion are much appreciated (its only a rough draft). I have included parts from Bill's letter with regards to the FSA regulations.

      Many Thanks

        Spot on Lucie x great letter and it appears to cover all grounds.

        Just a little note (on the last paragraph, check that one again) where you have said "not to uphold" just to change it to reconsider to uphold) not a big problem and I'm sure you would have noticed that. (Unless it's my eyes of course) LOL x

        And:

        Give them either 14 or 21 days to respond with a decision, either one it's up to you, But let them know what you will give them.

        Then it's ready to go, excellent! ;-) The best of luck.

        Di

          Thanks Di.... It wasn't your eyes lol, I have changed that part now. I'm going to post this tomorrow... Should I also attach it in an e-mail to the CEO ... David Nicholson? Maybe then they will realise I'm serious about my complaint!

          Thanks for reading through the letter for me

              :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

              Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Di and Bill for all your help and advice...

              I e-mailed my letter to the CEO of Halifax. I then posted a copy of the letter, e-mail and a copy of the successful decision letter for my bill protector to the claims department. This morning I received a letter agreeing to uphold my claim, along with a cheque for £2200.

              Persistence really does pay off. Without your help and advice, I would have given up long ago!!

              So THANK YOU :cheer2::hail:

              Lucie xx
