  • Lifestyle claims

Lifestyle claims contacted me in July 2012, and I went ahead with a claim. I paid £395 admin fee and was told that was it. Then in August I got a phone call asking for a further £1200 for legal fees, which would help claim back thousands of pounds!!. After a long phone call and promises that any fee would be deducted, I paid my £I200.

Then in October I won £4998 from my credit card company. The next day I recieved an invoice for there services for £1798. I phoned them and was told they had gone into administration and I must pay the full amount,to the new company Red Hawk Legal, and claim back my £1200. I said I would pay the balance only. My contract was with Lifestyle claims and not Red Hawk Legal.

Anyone got any advice on what I can do about this dodgy lot.

You must contact the Ministry of Justice and Trading Standards. Another poster had already ascertained from the MOJ that Redhawk cannot act on Lifestyle Claims cases. Please let us know what the MOJ say to you and if you need further help please shout and we will try and help you further.

Absolutely AGREE. Red Hawk have no authority over your case. You received the payment from your credit card provider direct?

Why on earth were you charged £1200 for legal fees??? Sounds like the actions of a doomed company trying to claw in as much as possible in their dying days?
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

For the moment I wouldn't pay them anything until the MOJ have clarified Radhawk's legal entitlement to their fee. We'll try and find that out for you.

I run a small CMC and find this totally wrong and quite frankly disgusting. If i can help in anyway, please let me know.

            Re: Lifestyle claims

I have already been in touch with the MOJ, the person I talked to thought it strange another PPI company took over and operate out of the same office.I get the odd phone call from Redhawk, but I am refusing to pay them. I have not yet recieved any letter from any adimistrator, as Redhawk said I would. I know it is Sharma and co. Am just a bit worried they could sell the debt to some agency.
