Has anyone claimed PPI back from Future Mortgages?

How far back can a person claim PPI?

    Re: Future Mortgages PPI

I've never had dealings with Future Mortgages myself, but maybe others have and will post in due course of their own experience.

Do not worry about the timescales, if you've only just recently became aware of the mis selling of the ppi, and that realise now that applies to you as well, give it a go.

Many have been successful from making reclaims from accounts from the 90's maybe even earlier.

Do you still have any details of the mortgage?

      Hello di30,

Yes, i do have all the paperwork from the account but the mortgages are under investigation as part of a fraud case against a solicitor and are not the same as the paperwork the mortgage co. and the solicitor hold, so with Future not being able to locate our files it looks like Future Mortgages are conspiring to help the solicitor to hide the fraud he committed.

Letter received from PPI company re Future Mortgages states the following:

"We regret to inform you that on this particular claim we are unable to help you as the date the loan was taken out falls outside the period that Future Mortgages Ltd. became regulated by the Financial Services Authority."

Is this correct?, because last week Future said they needed more info about the account as they couldn't locate our file on the account number provided and could we provide further info to enable them to locate the files.

        Hiya Ian

What year if you don't mind me asking did you take out the mortgage?
And just to double check, was it this business that set up and sold you the mortgage? The ones responsible are the ones for setting the account/product up, so if it were these and not a broker, then you are correct in pursuing this business.

As far as I am aware the regulation on mortgages are far longer than that of other financial products and that should not be a problem. I am aware there has been success from customers making reclaims from mortgage ppi even from mortgages taken out 80's and upwards.
Maybe one of the folks here can clarify on this, and may know more than I do in regards of mortgage ppi etc......

So you've not actually tried making a reclaim on the ppi yet then?

If not maybe fire away with it, see what they come back with.

I note you said they claim they are not able to locate your files, but have you tried yourself and in actually requesting a Subject access Request (SAR) to their data department? In hope they do come across something.

You could still continue with a reclaim, if you have the account number and of course your reasons......

Let us know if you require a SAR template if so I can post one up, and you can tweak to your requirements.

        Cheers.

          Re: Future Mortgages PPI

          Thanks Di.

The mortgages were taken out in 2000 but there are serious discrepancies in the files they hold to the files we have so Future Mortgages are trying their best to keep hold of the files to avoid incriminating themselves in a major fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud with a solicitor to obtain property by deception for financial gain.

PPI is just another avenue to obtain more evidence, whether we have a claim or not is irrelevant, it would be a nice bonus if we was owed something but the bigger prized awaits.

My wife and i lost everything we owned in 2002 because of these people and it has taken me 10 years of investigation to get enough evidence to get the SRA involved and i am discovering more and more evidence the longer this drags on but, i'm a patient man and will take as long as needed to put an end to all this and make sure their lies are found out and we can get our lives back!

The solicitor should have settled this years ago but his pure arrogance in believing i would walk away and let them get away with it is going to bring down a lot of people, he will be crying like a baby when i've finished with him!
