  • Allianz Insurance - Deceased Account

    Hi All,

Was looking for some advice on a matter I have, hope it doesn't sound to much like a sob story to Start with. I gave up work 3 years ago to look after my mother who was diagnosed with a terminal tumour in 2009 see sadly passed away February last year after the funeral did nothing with her personal affairs until August. I got a new job and processed the probate myself, paid of Marks and Sparks, Northbridge Finance filled R27 out of the estate no one was owed a penny. March of this year I moved and was clearing out paperwork and came across her bank statements and noticed that for months Allianz had taken £21.40 . I wrote to them immediately with copy of death cert and asked what the policy could be for. I got a voice message from a woman called Gloria saying the account couldn't be found. She had paid the same amount for 4 years which was the date her car loan ran out which I have paid in full £842 outstanding at date of death. Been dealing with a man called Nick Sintra who is rude and arrogant. Still never received letter acknowledging my complaint he has chased nothing up and just keeps giving me numbers to ring my initial complaint was sent recorded . I have bank statement to show the payments going out he xan't find them there is no ref on the direct debit on statement. It's not a question of he money it's the arrogance of them quick to take it each month but not to help me. Next step FSO but any help would be most welcome

I would contact the CEO by Email and give him a full acount of how you are being hounded. Put your complaint in chronological number order of dates and what has been happening. I would be extremely surprised if the CEO cannot get this sorted for you as it is not in their interest to treat people this way. email CEO:- andrew.torrance@alianz.co.uk
