I have just sent Black Horse the forms to reclaim ppi. I have had one unsecured loan, one HP agreement and three secured loans dating back to 2002. Has anyone had any experience with Black Horse as the only ones I have read about are bad. I lost out on the bank charges as I went to court the day after it was stopped for the court hearing. So far they have been helpful by giving me dates, account numbers and amounts. Please help if you have any advice!

Re: Black Horse Help
No,no,no! I've had several black horses, and fine specimens they were too. Have you not read Black Beauty?
Fillies are the best, the stallions can get over-excited and tend to buck. So easy for them to throw their rider. Not good for the hunt though, thoroughly unsuited.

Re: Black Horse Help
Yes, I sent in a hefty recorded envelope with 5 in. I could seriously do with the money as Black Horse have already taken me to court for arrears so I am now struggling to pay that off monthly. It would be a bonus to be debt free , so fingers crossed.

Re: Black Horse Help
Hi,
I received 5 letters at the beginning of December to say that the claims were being looked into. I can't help but worry that this is going to go wrong for me. I am claiming against Blackhorse for 4 secured loans and one personal loan going back a number of years. I have a secured loan with them at the moment and I have been taken to court for repossesion but I am paying an extra £100 a month (of which I don't have) to pay off some of the arrears. It does not look like there have been many successes with them and as I lost out on my bank charges claim by one day you will understand my desperation. When I took out the loans I was told that the loan would not go through unless I had PPI all I remember was the lady was called Clare and she spoke to me as if I was a lower class citizen. Can anyone help or advise as I am desperate and with all this worry I see the only way out is to sell my house?

Hi there
Hopefully all will go your way but I can imagine your bound to worry about this, I remember feeling like this when going through financial hardship difficulties just some few years ago.
I take it you have already sought free debt advice from for example The National Debtline, CCCS etc.
Google these in if you've not done so.
You may also find your local MP may be able to help in some ways, on your behalf to help you out, in order to avoid selling the house, as there maybe some ways ro get round this matter.
So bumping this up for you at the same time, and hope things get resolved as soon as possible, fingers crossed.

Hi kim take comfort from the fact that they can't have what you haven't got, as Di says the cccs is a good possibility to look into as long as your attempting to pay something from off your arrears you'll be alright, i got myself into a right muddle before having my stroke and it was hard to know where to turn but this situation is a lot more common now with the recession there are people who can help you with this steer clear of for a fee debt management companies though. good luck, steve

Hiya
When was the last time you heard from BH?
Will have to have a browse around other sites to see if anyone else is still waiting about for them.
Hope you hear some good news soon.

Re: Black Horse Help
In my experience, Black Horse are one of the better finance companies, along with Chartered Trust. I'm not saying they're both perfect, but they seem to be less couldn't-care-less than many others.Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.

Hi, sorry I mean the acknowledgment letter, you should receive this within a week or 2 of them receiving it.
Yes that would be helpful to you wouldn't it?
