  • does PPI only apply to loans then?

    25th october .... something else not clear.... does recaliming PPI only apply to actual loans then..... so do credit cards not count.
    Also - do accounts have to be settled in order to reclaim PPI?

    PPI is Payment Protection Insurance, which is supposed to cover a borrower if they are unable to keep up payments on a loan or credit card through accident, illness, unemployment, etc.

    The loan does NOT have to be paid up/settled.

      Hi there

      As BillK says.

      And Insurance may also be sold alongside with Catalogues, Car Finance, store cards and so on, it may not actually be worded PPI as such but its still insurance, so if you think you were mis sold, you can give it a go on the reclaiming.
