Hi the account is around 5-6 years old, the problem i have is i pay my statements min balance Santander just cant find my original signed agreement, this was originally taken out with BHS i think Santander took over the running of the account, there customer service is not great, ive told them that until the copies can be found the agreement may be unforceable and have asked for my PPI payments back, its now just a waiting game

        Hiya

First of all, you can make a reclaim no matter how old (sorry was meant to say this on my post above), and if the account is at the most 6 years old, they will still hold data on the account, as they must keep them on file/systems for at least that long.

I would however, consider sending them a Subject Access Request (SAR), they MUST oblige to this by the law of the Data Protection Act (DPA).

Can anyone post or pm crazyhorse1967 with a SAR letter template please.

So do you still have the account number on hand for this account?

I have helped many friends and collegues claim back mis-sold PPI from Santander. I could help you claim back from santander and any of there asscociates. i have exstensive knowledge of PPI sold by this particular lender. I have a large list of store cards that had PPI on them as well as details of the underwriters. I am not a Financial Advisor but i could assit you with your claim.

mark, that is not what we do on the forum, ie give an email address out for SOMEONE ELSE to reclaim the PPI. A consumer forum is about empowering the individual into reclaiming themselves and to help them along the way. Shortly your email address will be removed by site admin.

Please help by giving advice and not by effectively touting for business so to speak. I have done claims myself for family but that is family and I'd help friends as well but they are people I know and people I respect.

Appreciate your eagerness to help but please do not "tout" on the forum but help others by giving advice on the forum.

Mark, How much would you charge the person if they had contacted you? What percentage of any win would you take as a fee?
