    Hi there & welcome

I do not know how claims companies work, but it seems that lots more paperwork is involved - than if you were to do this yourself.

So at what stage are you at right now?

I see, so the complaint is resolved and Cap One are asking for a matching signature?

As not actually been in this situation myself in regards of a signature, I am not sure on why they require all this paperwork, but in regards of bank statements and your unsure about sending these, you could contact them and ask if there is anything other than the statements you can send, like a copy of a utility bill.
As no signature is enclosed on bank statements, apart from the name of the customer and address, also bank account details.

Name and address details is what they also seem to require, so a copy of a utility bill should be appropriate, and "maybe a copy of a marriage or birth certificate", yet I would be unsure of sending these as well.

You could contact the claims company direct on this matter, see what they suggest otherwise.
