    hi can u claim back ppi if you have been bankrupt...
    i have claimed some back but my mate not sure because he was bankrupt in 2007

    Hi there

    As far as I am aware, yes you can.

    I am not sure though if any of the money will still be paid towards this although its BC, maybe someone else will know more on that particular part, but you are of course entitled to make a reclaim on the PPI if mis sold.

      It's likely the lender will offset against the balance that was due before the bankruptcy, even if they dont, any refund would be classed as either a windfall or an after acquired asset and be claimed by the Trustee in Bankruptcy under the provisions of the Insolvency Act.
