  • Reclaiming ppi

    Hi,

I have two mis-sold ppi accounts with HSBC and Black Horse. I have never tried reclaiming mis-sold ppi before and do not really know where to start.

I am hoping someone could please talk me through the process.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cindy

      Re: Reclaiming ppi

      Hi Cindy and welcome.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your reasons for reclaiming?

And have you still got the paperwork/account numbers for these loan accounts?

Below is the details of how to reclaim with the guidelines to follow, and a reclaim questionnaire have replaced the template letters of reclaiming.

When you complete these, always keep copies in case you need to go back to them again at some point.

Currently the main of the banks have permission to have extra time, they usual is 8 weeks, and they were given 16 weeks, so double the time, however as from the 1 Sept it will be 12 weeks, then back to normal of 8 weeks after October (Just making you aware of this).

You send to the complaints dept or head office of whoever sold you the accounts, and it's recommended to send by signed for recorded delivery for your proof of posting.

Hope this helps for now, have a read of the above links to give you an idea on the reclaiming and the questionnaire below is the one you use to make a reclaim to the business, good luck.
