Has anyone heard anything from Blackhorse Finance i have two claims in with them dated the 15th October held up due to the JR i have spoke to them several times and they have advised they are working them in date order this has been for about 6 weeks now and i have still heard nothing if they are still not working on the 15th of October claims then i doubt very much they are going to have there final decision letters out by end of August.


Has any claims management companies been having any joy with Blackhorse?

As you will be aware the FSA given extra time due to backlogs, even though they have given those dates for timescale, you could still hear before that, keep at them and the best of luck.

havent seen anything from B/Horse on any of our clients, whenever we chase they parrot the usual line about responses to be issued by 31 aug, other than that they are unwilling/unable to provide any further info.

Thinking about it they didnt specifically state it would be this august, they simply quote from FSA waiver. but then again these are the banks, nothing would surprise me!!!

Black Horse are taking 16 weeks from date received if this was sent in after early May.

from their web site:-

If we received your complaint before 06 May 2011, we will provide a full response as soon as possible, and no later than the end of August 2011.
If we received your complaint on or after 06 May 2011, we will provide a full response as soon as possible, and no later than within 16 weeks
