    I took out a loan 10+ years ago with then TSB could not afford to pay the loan which was handed over to bls collections i am still paying it back at £25 a month could i still make a claim for the ppi

    As your account is still 'active' (eg, you are still paying off a balance, which likely includes a PPI premium if it was all bundled up in the original monthly payments) then it is still possible even though the account is so old. Depends on the circumstances of your case. First step is to do a subject Access Request under the Data Protection Act on the original lender to see what paperwork they have.

      Hi and welcome

      Your also still paying for the PPI which is added to the balance of your loan, and while you have this with collections your not going to be able to make a claim for sickness/unemployment anyway.

      Yes you can make a reclaim, and if you think it was mis sold, then give it a go, if successful its possibly the amount will be used towards the arrears, anything remaining plus interest is awarded directly to you.

      If you require any help on the reclaiming, give a yell, but above the page you will see a PPI box, click on that for more info and ask for further advice if you need to, good luck.
