I like many, have read the judgement and have also been aware of the MBNA/Link covert tactics for many years...
Meticulous record keeping; key word.
And something that I personally have always advocated.
IMHO, Link Financial shot themselves in the proverbial foot/feet:

Link Financial plus their trading names and associated companies have had a tendency of circumnavigating the OFT Guidance on debt collection practices. Thus it comes as no surprise to many that, Mr. Harrison was in fact bombarded and hounded, in order to bring him to heel.
It was very nice to hear via the judgement that, HHJ Chambers QC had done his homework, so to speak.
A short note to any DCA's that may be viewing this thread:
Please observe the OFT's Debt Collection Guidelines: Comply!
Not forgetting the Data Protection Act 1998, of course.
