Hi. I have just had my claim for PPI upheld :tinysmile_grin_t:it was for a loam I took out in 2007. I had another loan taken out in 2003 with PPi do you think I would be able to claim for this one as well,(it was paid off in 2006) Thanks

where did you take the loan? what was the purpose of the loan? What were the cancellation terms of the policy?

I opened the Loan in Oct 2003 to consolidate my debts, I think I took it out over the phone,it had a 60mnth term but was paid back after 48mnths I'm afraid I can't
remember anything else

Hi there

So you still have the account number of that loan?

With settling this in 2006 its possible they may still hold the details, you could first of all - of mis sold on the PPI for that one as well, is make a reclaim as you did on the other, they may even send back some details with a letter, but make a start on the reclaiming, and maybe you could contact the data dept for the details of the loan.

Hi I only had the PPI acc No not the Loan acc No. Just had a reply from Barclays saying they are looking into my complaint

Send a SAR. Chances are a copy of the 2003 loan credit agreement will be included.

Good. The SAR covers all of your credit accounts with Barclays and can throw up some v interesting info. A lot of my PPI claims have come from SAR data that I've received and for PPI I didn't even know i was paying for. Should be interesting to see what you get. FWIW I hope you screw Barclays into the ground as they have caused me major grief and are continuing to do so.
