  • ppi claim mishap

hi there looking 4 some help plz. we recently claimed for ppi. while looking to see what company 2 go with we unknowingly started a claim with a solicitor and with a company called investor compensation on the same claim. the claim was settled within 2 months (although we havent had the cash yet). thats when we realised our error. the solicitors were very understanding and offered to half the fee with the other company although it was the solicitor who done all the work. investor compensation were not happy about this and refused. we posted the investor compensation application by mistake and believe it or not we received no letters from the investor compensation apart from the application, only texts they sent us.we recieved numerous letters from the solicitors throughout the claim. now they both want paid. do i have a leg to stand on or will i have to cough up??? thanks in advance. lisa.
