PPi's and overdraft

Thanks for the notes on claiming. I don't have just one issue but several, after I rang 2 years ago to explain I was having trouble paying my overdraft off, and after being told to claim on my insurance While waiting for my claim pack to arrive my account was promptly closed! the claim pack came two weeks later and after reading it (I am a Disabled pensioner) it was clear to me that I could not according to them claim, even though I have a letter from Barclay's saying my insurance is valid until my 70'th Birthday! How can I have claimed when my account was closed so that I could not continue to pay the insurance anyway! I would also like to know why as I have been paying on a payment plan for 2 years now, I have never once received a yearly statement of account! I'm hoping to be able to write all this in one claim. I have written to Barclays in London before complaining about this situation and MERCERS! All I received was a letter of apology with a £20 cheque for the cost of my telephone calls!! As I have been ill and also look after a disabled Person it has taken me a long time to get up the courage to fight this again. Will let you know what happens.:tinysmile_hmm_t2:

Can you please tell us where exactly you are up to with your PPI claim, are you claiming it was mis sold?
If you could not claim on it what was the reason you could not claim?
As for your yearly account it depends when the anniversary of the account actually is, as it comes 12 month after that.
If you need to fins out all the info that Barclays have on your account then you need to send a SAR (Subject Access Request) the info for that is here http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...ad.php?t=14196
