in december 2007 i took out a loan with black horse for 6000 and was sold ppi with the loan, the amount of ppi payments per month worked out at 45.00 so in october 2008 i cancelled the ppi ,my original payments with ppi and the loan were 195.00 per month after cancelling the ppi they reduced to 160.00 which meant i was still paying extra per month. In november 2009 i paid off the loan totally The problem i have is i have been tryiny to claim back my mis sold ppi and after the usual "your getting nothing letters" i have today received a letter offering me 366.34.The original cost for the ppi was 1835.88 with interset came to 2719.60,the letter says they gave a rebate of 1258.83 when i cancelled, but now are offering a more favourable rebate of 1625.17,I have asked for a SAR but havent yet received it,i am assuming the extra ten pounds added onto my loan payments after i cancelled the ppi will be a charge for the extra interest they lost when i cancelled the ppi.Could anyone tell me if i can still claim for all the payments i paid before i cancelled alsoo and should i ask for additional 8% charges as welll.thank you
